Manufacturing Engineer- circuit card assemblies

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for circuit card assemblies (CCA), subassemblies, and cable harnesses. This role involves collaborating with operations and design engineering teams to implement production improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for CCAs and module assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to enhance production efficiency.
• Support the production floor by working closely with operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design, procure, and implement tooling to support manufacturing processes.
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency; initiate corrective actions to resolve deficiencies.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and specifications to optimize manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and specifications.
Qualifications
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and wire harness print interpretation.
• Experience with cable harness assembly and general assembly processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 and Surface Mount Technology is a plus.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs and lift at least 20 lbs.
