Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to become vital members of our team. You will be responsible for performing x-ray testing, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties outline the expectations for this position but are not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned.

  • Greet patients promptly in all areas, including the waiting, exam, and x-ray rooms.
  • Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps in their care.
  • Address patient concerns and seek assistance in emergency situations when necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with urgency and empathy.
  • Assist front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out as needed.
  • Accurately document patient vital signs, brief health histories, current medications, and allergies.
  • Support patient transfers and procedures under direct provider supervision.
  • Perform timely radiology procedures to assist the attending physician in evaluation and treatment.
  • Maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards for imaging exams.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while following established safety protocols.
  • Ensure diagnostic equipment is functional and report any issues to the Manager or provider.
  • Stay updated on diagnostic imaging practices with continuous education.
  • Maintain valid licensure and certification relevant to radiology equipment.

Work Schedule:
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and alternating weekends. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Arkansas State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus
