OUR GOAL:Treat our consultants and clients the way we would like others to treat usInterested in joining our team? Check out the opportunity below and apply today
We are looking for an SEO Specialist whose experience aligns with a high-level, focused strategic environment, rather than high-volume execution typically found in certain agency models or affiliate marketing. Our focus is on advanced, in-house streaming strategy for major brands. We require demonstrated success managing a limited portfolio of high-complexity projects-ideally those with deep platform integration-as opposed to managing a large roster of 50+ clients or focusing on high-volume industries like automotive.
Given this is a corporate environment, success in this role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable and proficient in presenting, debating, and articulating complex SEO strategies and results to executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- West Hollywood, CA preferred, OR NYC, onsite full time 5 days/week in either location
- Hours: 8 or 8:30am to 5 or 5:30pm either west coast or east coast, OT may occur
- Search Intent: Thinking through how an article matches a searcher's intent and ensuring the content style is appropriate.
- Data Proficiency: Ability to pull data from dashboards and use it to solve problems.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicating effectively with internal brands and presenting monthly analysis.
- The Marketing Acquisition & Campaign Services (MACS) team is a performance-driven digital marketing organization supporting streaming brands. This role supports day-to-day Global SEO operations.
- As the SEO Specialist, Streaming, you will report to the Sr. Director of SEO and assists with reporting, keyword research, content workflows, SEO monitoring, and CMS updates.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, writing, and supporting cross-functional teams.
- The SEO Specialist is a content and analytics-focused role rather than a deep technical engineering position. While candidates don't need to code (no JavaScript or HTML scripting), they must understand "technical content SEO," such as metadata tags and how technical elements impact rankings.
- 1. SEO Strategy & Execution
- Optimization: Diagnosing why articles aren't ranking and implementing fixes.
- Audit Work: Performing keyword research, on-page auditing, and light SEO technical auditing.
- Technical Content: Managing the specific tags and metadata that dictate how results appear in SERPs.
- 2. Analytics & Reporting
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring launches to see if they perform as anticipated.
- Data Narratives: Moving beyond just "reading" data to drilling down into the "why" and creating monthly presentations for stakeholders.
- 3. Operations & Communication
- Process Improvement: Working with writers and stakeholders to refine workflows.
- Daily Tasks: Managing tasks within the CMS and maintaining the sports/events calendar.
- The SEO team functions as both an internal agency and an in-house partner. You'll help maintain SEO reporting, support content optimization, perform routine audits, and assist in publishing workflows. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are key.
- Perform day-to-day SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page auditing, and light SEO auditing.
- Maintain weekly SEO reporting across dashboards, Google Search Console, analytics tools, and rank tracking.
- Update slide decks summarizing performance, insights, and SEO guidance.
- Monitor release and content calendar and support GTM planning.
- Provide SEO copyediting and content optimization feedback.
- Support content launches by making CMS updates and metadata adjustments.
- Monitor SEO performance and flag emerging issues.
- Use SEO tools to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps.
- Assist with market and competitive research.
- Help document SEO recommendations (e.g., Jira tickets, training docs, wikis).
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, product, copywriting, and international teams to support SEO needs.
- Stay current on SEO industry trends and evolving search behaviors.
- At least 3 years of experience in SEO
- Strong knowledge of standard SEO processes and common SEO tools.
- Comfort working with web analytics; familiarity with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
- Understanding of search intent and how users discover content through search.
- Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Search Console).
- Familiarity with SEO crawlers (e.g., Screaming Frog, Botify).
- Experience with a CMS; WordPress experience is a plus.
- Comfort working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to interpret reporting trends and clearly summarize insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in entertainment, streaming, or digital content strategy.
- If they have editorial or content related experience this is helpful, or eCommerce would be transferrable.
- Enterprise Experience: Must use professional, enterprise-level language suitable for high-level stakeholders.
- Content + Data Hybrid: Ability to optimize articles while simultaneously pulling and interpreting dashboard data.
- Strong Communicators: High marks have been given to candidates who conduct themselves well and can translate data into a narrative.
