Overview

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Salesforce Developer to support enterprise Salesforce initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role involves developing scalable Salesforce solutions while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality enhancements and platform improvements.

As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support complex business requirements. You will analyze project objectives, architect solutions, create workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure the stability, security, and performance of the Salesforce environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead on Salesforce application development projects.
  • Design and architect Salesforce applications to meet complex business needs and partner with Business Analysts to present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform (Classic and Lightning).
  • Monitor system performance and develop mitigation solutions to address performance inefficiencies.
  • Research Salesforce release notes and prepare environments for upcoming releases.
  • Create timelines and estimates for project work.
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Produce project estimates and communicate progress regularly to project managers.
  • Proactively and independently determine tasks and next steps for projects.
  • Test applications prior to User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs and defects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM platforms, including both Classic and Lightning.
  • Strong application development skills within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Ability to analyze project requirements and develop scalable technical solutions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Experience preparing systems for Salesforce release cycles.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement abilities.
  • Prior experience serving as a technical lead on Salesforce development projects.
  • Experience designing and architecting Salesforce applications for enterprise environments.
  • Experience monitoring system performance and implementing performance-related mitigations.
  • Experience creating project timelines, estimates, and technical documentation.
