Forklift/Production Operator

Location: Jackson, MI
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. (depending on workload)
- 1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- 1st Shift: $16.00 per hour
- 2nd Shift: $16.75 per hour
Jackson, Mi based company, with nearly 70 years of establishment in the area needs dedicated employees to join our team for long-term opportunities. We are currently seeking a reliable Forklift/Production Operator to support our operations.
The primary responsibilities include operating a forklift and running machines as a machine operator. The ideal candidate must exhibit the ability to work collaboratively, maintain good attendance, and adhere to safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive skill sin forklift operation
- Perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally above 50 pounds.
- Follow written and/or verbal directions to ensure proper processing of parts through vibratory operations.
- Deliver parts to required locations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a valid forklift permit.
- Work efficiently with co-workers and customers in other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in effective problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
