A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN HVAC STARTUP & WARRANTY MANAGER

As an HVAC Startup & Warranty Manager, you plan and oversee the operations of the HVAC Startup & Warranty department within the Residential Services division to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. Build strong relationships with builders and customers to promote customer retention from New Construction to Service customers.

Within company policies, you establish departmental objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards. As a goal-oriented problem-solver, you are always looking for ways to proactively improve customer satisfaction. You also find ways to improve efficiency. To help maintain departmental performance, you institute standard reporting and accountability practices. While you do spend a lot of time out in the field, you are also organized and keep on top of all your administrative duties. You get great satisfaction out of ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction

HVAC STARTUP & WARRANTY MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong HVAC mechanical/technical aptitude
• Sales aptitude including identifying and education prospective clients while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services
• Excellent client interfacing skills, customer service and relationship building
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
