Job Summary:

Hotel Cleveland is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable AM Barista to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality coffee and breakfast service to our guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality. Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with consistency and attention to detail

  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment

  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized coffee station

  • Upsell pastries, breakfast items, and specialty beverages

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Server Duties:

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly in the restaurant or lobby dining area

  • Take and deliver breakfast orders accurately and efficiently

  • Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and accommodate dietary needs when possible

  • Set and clear tables, restock service stations, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a barista and/or server in a hotel, café, or restaurant preferred

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Schedule:

  • Full-time and Part-time

  • Morning shifts typically begin between 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM

The starting hourly wage for this position is between $16 + tips. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
