The Sales & Marketing Co-Op Student will provide hands-on support to the Sales and Marketing department through a variety of administrative, creative, and research-based tasks. This position is designed to offer a current student real-world exposure to professional marketing operations within a dynamic, high-performance marine engine company. The role supports both day-to-day marketing initiatives and longer-term strategic projects, helping ensure consistent brand communication, accurate digital content, and organized sales enablement materials.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with website maintenance and updates, including product pages, event listings, and news posts
  • Support social media content creation and management, including post scheduling, image selection, and basic analytics tracking
  • Help draft and edit marketing copy for campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Participate in video and photo production, including setup, filming, and basic editing for social and internal content
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support sales strategy and product positioning
  • Provide general administrative and organizational support for marketing events, trade shows, and communication initiatives
Educational Requirements
  • Enrolled in a high school or local community college
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, sales, or business development
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Creative thinker with curiosity about boats, cars, engines, or motorsports
Nuts and Bolts
  • Benefits: Ineligible
  • Hours-per-week: 10 - 15
  • Schedule: Flexible M - F between 8am - 5pm
  • Compensation: $14 - $16/hour
