Front-End .NET Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA | Duration: 6+ months | Hybrid/Remote

Seeking for a Front-End .NET Developer to help transition a crucial transportation scheduling application from an external vendor system to a modern .NET and Angular platform hosted on Azure. Work under the guidance of our Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code that enhances system features.

Must-have Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferably with jQuery and Bootstrap)
  • 8+ years of experience with Angular, particularly version 14 or greater
  • 8+ years of experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, XUnit, or NUnit
  • 8+ years of experience with .NET Core and C# (version 5 or greater)
  • 8+ years of experience with ASP.NET, including familiarity with MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications and RESTful APIs
  • 8+ years of experience with PostGres Database and PostGres GIS
  • 8+ years of experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework and Dapper
  • 8+ years of experience with Esri ArcGIS solutions
  • Proficiency with tools like Visual Studio (VS2022) and VS Code, Azure DevOps, and Git
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design
  • Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion, including regulations (e.g., Section 508, ADA) and WCAG 2.1 requirements
  • Experience designing for platform technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
  • Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices
  • Experience optimizing for accessibility features on platforms (HTML, iOS, Android)
  • Experience developing digital products compliant with accessibility standards
  • Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process (desired)
  • Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of "definition of done" (desired)
