Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, with a focus on senior-level tax accounting.
  • In-depth understanding of tax accounting, accounting principles, and regulations.
  • Proven experience preparing complex tax returns (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120s, etc.).
  • Proven leadership skills and effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in software including Excel, Word, QuickBooks, UltraTax, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a senior tax expert, applying extensive knowledge to diverse clients and a dynamic tax environment.
  • Lead and contribute to a variety of complex tax projects daily, adapting to unique client needs.
  • Communicate progress to assigned clients and provide proactive advice on sophisticated tax matters.
  • Build and maintain personal relationships with clients, ensuring the creation of significant value for their companies.
