The Pleasant Hill School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of:
Title I Preschool Paraprofessional Level I
Tuesday through Friday
for the current 2025-2026 school year
Deadline for applications: Until Filled
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Minimum of 60 college credit hours or
- Hold a DESE Substitute Certification

Summary: Title I Paraprofessional works directly with the Title I Preschool Teacher in support of whole and small group instruction in and outside of the classroom.
This job reports to the Building Principal.
Essential Functions
The ideal candidate is able to:
- effectively communicate, verbally and in written form.
- exercise sound judgment and confidentiality on sensitive issues.
- perform supportive instructional tasks and tutorial tasks under the direction of the Title 1 preschool teacher.
- assist in implementing the classroom behavior management system as designed by Title 1 preschool teacher.
- assist in the supervision of preschool students throughout the school day (e.g., provide support services within regular classroom, loading/unloading of buses, recess, assemblies, and movement throughout the school building).
- assist Title 1 preschool teacher in evaluation activities and records management.
- assure the health and safety of students by following established practices and procedures and maintain the learning environment in a safe, orderly and clean manner.
- perform other duties as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
