Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is critical to supporting the company's financial operations and maintaining up-to-date books.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Process vendor payments, customer invoices, and collections
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Collaborate with external CPA for audits and tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and report financial insights to leadership
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
