Essential Job Summary: The Safety Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in our Environmental, Health, and Safety team. This position is responsible for ensuring all safety programs are comprehensively communicated and effectively implemented throughout the organization. You will be key in training and mentoring both employees and management on safe workplace practices and compliance with regulations. This role requires travel to various service locations to engage with employees, conduct safety observations, and manage incident responses.

Essential Job Functions: To excel in this role, you must successfully perform the following key duties:

  • Possess deep knowledge of DOT compliance
  • Train and educate employees on efficient and safe work practices
  • Facilitate training on safety programs, transportation compliance, and standard operating procedures as needed
  • Manage and monitor training records in collaboration with the corporate training group to ensure employees receive timely training
  • Maintain open communication with operations management regarding safety trends, corrective recommendations, and necessary disciplinary actions
  • Conduct site safety audits and observations to ensure compliance and address potential issues with follow-up actions

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the transportation industry is strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Strong commitment to upholding safety practices
  • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance and performance record
  • Fluent in reading and writing English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous
  • Basic computer skills required; additional training will be provided

Salary Range: Minimum: USD $80,000.00/Yr., Maximum: USD $100,000.00/Yr.
