Construction Plan Review Specialist

The Construction Plan Review Specialist is responsible for office engineering activities focused on the review of standard construction plans, equipment specifications, and fire protection drawings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed reviews of construction, equipment, and fire protection plans to identify deficiencies and foreseeable physical and human element risks associated with fire, equipment, and natural hazards.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with project stakeholders, including the Designated Service Provider, project engineers, clients, and contractors, to gain a comprehensive understanding of projects.
- Utilizing electronic tools to assess project data, collaborate with contractors and clients to address deficiencies, and ensure timely completion of reviews.
- Identifying potential new projects and collaborating with management on further actions.
- Providing technical support in response to client inquiries.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- A minimum of two years of experience in reviewing technical, construction, equipment, and fire protection drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and computer-based calculation tools; experience with building information modeling is a plus.
