Business Continuity Analyst

Location: Miramar, FL (Hybrid - 4 days/week)
Duration: 3-6-month, possible contract to hire
Position Overview: The Business Continuity Analyst will be responsible for conducting Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, and Contingency Planning. This role involves developing, testing, and deploying strategies and processes to ensure our business continuity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business continuity within large enterprises and preferably in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify and prioritize critical business functions.
- Perform Risk Assessments to determine potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain Contingency Plans to ensure business operations can continue during disruptions.
- Create, test, and deploy Business Continuity (BC) strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure BC strategies are aligned with business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on BC processes and procedures.
- Regularly review and update BC plans to reflect changes in the business environment.
- Business Continuity Management Certified Specialist (BCCS), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or similar certification.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning in large enterprises.
- Hospitality experience (hotels, resorts, cruise ships or restaurants) is a Plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (i.e. IT, risk management, cybersecurity)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
