We are seeking a talented Ecommerce UX Designer to be part of the Cengage Work team, focused on enhancing our eCommerce experiences. In this role, you will design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly solutions that are informed by data and experimentation. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders will be key to your success in creating experiences that drive significant business results.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for eCommerce flows, from initial discovery and concept development through to high-fidelity design and final implementation.
• Simplify complex business needs and data insights into engaging user experiences.
• Utilize A/B and multivariate testing to validate design ideas and inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with product and analytics teams to design and analyze experiments.
• Exhibit strong interaction and visual design skills while adhering to our brand standards.
• Advocate for user needs while considering business objectives and technical limitations.
• Contribute to our design system and help enhance the overall design quality within the organization.

Qualifications We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a well-rounded portfolio highlighting eCommerce projects.
• Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools), with an understanding of design systems.
• Experience in using data analytics and experimentation (A/B and multivariate testing) to guide design decisions.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to clearly communicate and defend design decisions.
• Familiarity with iterative product development and agile workflows.
• Bonus: experience with conversion optimization, personalization, or behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Optimizely, Amplitude).

Compensation

We take pride in our comprehensive Total Rewards package, designed to support and empower our employees. The compensation for this role ranges from $67,000.00 to $97,000.00 USD, depending on qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus program based on individual and company performance.
