As a Part-Time Seasonal In-Store Shopper, you will be a vital member of the Store Support team, responsible for selecting products and preparing online orders for delivery or pickup. Your work will include shopping throughout the store for various everyday goods, including food and household items. Flexibility in your schedule is essential, especially during our busiest times on Saturday and Sunday. We particularly seek team members available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Availability Requirements
  • Receive your schedule up to three weeks in advance.
  • Average shifts range from 4 to 8 hours long.
Job Requirements
  • Comfortable using a handheld mobile device for order fulfillment.
  • Efficiently and accurately fulfill online orders with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on product and order accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn about product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations.
  • Ability to keep the staging area organized and free of clutter.
  • Flexibility to work in various store departments as needed, including customer service and cashier roles.
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read and speak basic English.
  • Can lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for at least 6 hours.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours, sitting 1-4 hours.
  • Hand use includes grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capable of using tools and equipment like box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
  • May involve using ladders.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $25.40, based on experience. Whole Foods Market offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and additional programs.
