Position: Financial Analyst III (multiple positions available)

Location: Dallas, TX

Multiple Positions Available:

1.\tGather and analyze qualitative and quantitative economic, financial and other data to support financial planning and operating expense management.

2.\tPrepare various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including insightful financial performance analysis to achieve business goals.

3.\tTake ownership, identify process improvement opportunities for existing processes, reporting and controls, and drive positive change across the organization.

4.\tUnderstand relevant accounting principles and communicate the application of GAAP to peers and business partners.

5.\tParticipate in writing white papers to support a given accounting position.

6.\tProvide management and direction to junior analysts, including overseeing and reviewing reporting and Excel spreadsheet work papers.

7.\tDocument processes.

8.\tAssess internal controls, identify gaps in the control process, and design additional controls to solve deficiencies.

9.\tOversee the monthly close process working closely with finance team to ensure the validity of the financials and report results to senior management.

10.\tAct independently to complete multiple cross-functional projects with complex objectives.

11.\tCreate and maintain reports.

12.\tTrack down and identify sources of data, determine the validity of the data, and analyze the variance in the data between various systems and reports.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $110,032/year - $163,200/year)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related analytical field and three years of experience in finance or a related analytical field. Employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related analytical field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in finance or a related analytical filed as equivalent to the Master's degree and three years of experience.

Must have one year of experience in the following skills:

(1.)\tbuilding and managing financial models for business forecasting and variance analysis using advanced excel spreadsheet techniques such as vlookups and pivot tables;

(2.)\tanalyzing business processes;

(3.)\tdesigning and implementing controls;

(4.)\tfinancial reporting; and

(5.)\tmanaging cross-functional financial projects including project design, requirements and implementation.
