Summary:

Meta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As an engineering manager you will support, enable and empower your team, managing high performing engineers to make a meaningful impact on billions of people around the world. Software Engineering Managers are clearly characterized by progressive technical experience and demonstrated progression in management responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of, or PhD + 4 years of software engineering work experience, including hands on technical management

  2. Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management

  3. Bachelor of Science/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  4. Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers

  5. 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers with varied skill levels

Public Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
