As a Mechanic, you will handle preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repairs on various vehicle systems including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems. Your ability to work safely, analyze damaged parts, and assist in inventory control will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose vehicle issues and assess defective operations of vehicle systems and components.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Carry out major and minor repairs of defective parts.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all activities within MV's Fleet Management System.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, including high school courses or regional occupational programs.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
