Business Analyst - PMO Department

MUST BE LOCAL IN MIAMI -
Phoenix Proconnect is representing a global hospitality company and is currently seeking a business analyst to join their PMO department due to growth. The ideal candidate should have experience working in large global organizations and with complex IT projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration during the requirements gathering process.
  • Analyze information critically to generate solutions aligned with stakeholders' needs.
  • Guide stakeholders in gathering project requirements and identifying solutions.
  • Prioritize issues in the project backlog and ensure clear definition of business requirements.
  • Create and update project status reports bi-weekly.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and functional requirements.
  • Create flowcharts and data flow diagrams to communicate concepts visually.
  • Develop use cases to identify and organize requirements based on system-user interactions.
  • Initiate discussions with Project Manager and technical team to create project timeline.
  • Ensure project information is up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  • Oversee the updating of the 'Project Status Report' bi-weekly.
  • Act as Product Owner in Scrum projects, guiding team to achieve product vision and prioritize backlog items effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Business, or Information Technology related area.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written 100% Bilingual).
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience in Business Analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification (preferred).
  • IIBA Business Analysis Certification (preferred).

  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work efficiently with tight deadlines and under pressure.
