Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicles.
- Enhance your skills as an automotive mechanic with both domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate closely with the team to address guest concerns efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Effectively communicate with the service department on issues and solutions.
- Work with fellow technicians to tackle challenges and achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a positive attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to obtain them.
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing various makes and models of vehicles.
- Aim to meet or exceed hourly performance goals.
- Desire to learn and grow in your technical skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and effective communication skills.
- A commitment to long-term career development.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting/moving of over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles raised above head height.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Capability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating a computer system.
