POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Relations Physicians Liaison plays a critical role in building successful and sustainable relationships with our referral sources. The Physician Liaison will be responsible for assisting the department in successfully educating physicians on how to properly sign any plan of care documentation (orders), persuade them to return it in a timely fashion and act as a conduit in successfully promoting Innovive services and brand. He/she will work interchangeably with the Innovive Health Physicians Orders Department, Communications Department and Clinical Staff to ensure clear communication internally and proper documentation by outside providers. This position requires occasional travel as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts regular outreach to physician referral sources requesting for completion of essential documentation (i.e., signed plan of care).
• Responsible for a specific outreach territory and provides daily and weekly progress updates on outreach efforts.
• Responsible for tracking and reconciling essential documentation daily.
• Educates community providers on how to correctly return orders and explain what they are intended for when sharing mutual patients.
• Assists with business development in the assigned territory to support the marketing strategy.
• Attends/assists with meetings with potential referral sources or physicians after dropping off orders for signatures.
• Attends and actively participate in required meetings, including Physicians Orders check-in meetings, internal growth meetings, staff meetings, community events, etc.
• Maintains collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related work experience
• Experience in public speaking and demonstrated presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products for inter-departmental documents

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BA/BSBA in Marketing or Communications is preferred
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience, preferably in a medical office or home health agency

• Occasionally required climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Occasionally required to lift/push light weights (less than 25 pounds).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• May require Ability to travel locally by car to office(s), events, meetings, etc., as needed (approximately 5% of the time).
