Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Development Associate for our client, a respected nonprofit organization focused on senior services. This position is onsite in Manhattan (New York City, NY).
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Nonprofit Development Associate will support the organization's fundraising efforts through accurate data management, streamlined reporting, and donor acknowledgment workflows. This role plays a key part in ensuring the development team operates efficiently and is informed by consistent, actionable data. - Manage all donation processing, data entry, coding systems, and donor portfolio creation.
- Build dashboards and reports tracking development performance, donor activity, and budget vs. actuals.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in data collection, maintenance, and departmental reporting.
- Prepare and send donor acknowledgments and thank-you letters.
- Provide donor analysis to inform departmental planning and decision-making.
- Support budget planning by generating timely donor and fundraising reports.
- Nonprofit development or fundraising environment experience.
- Experience using DonorPerfect software.
- Ability to work onsite at the Manhattan office.
- Collaborative communication style and comfort working within a team-driven environment.
- Pay rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hour.
- Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
- Potential to convert to a permanent role with full organizational benefits.
- All equipment provided onsite.
