Responsibilities* Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.* Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.* Provides nutrition education to patients/families.* Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.
QualificationsEducation and Work Experience
- Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement).
- One year healthcare experience desirable.
