NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR I MARY FREE BED

Overview

The Network Administrator I role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Network Administrator II will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of information systems investments.

Responsibilities

Operations Responsibilities
• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing System; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these System.
• Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, and other applications.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new System.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.

Additional Responsibilities
• Demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Helps provide timely capacity planning data, as well as identifying and resolving significant performance issues.
• Performs data entry tasks as required using a desktop computer.
• Provides training and support for other Information Systems staff.
• Required to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties assigned
• Advanced analytical skills are necessary to resolve complex technical problems related to Information Technology.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to regularly interact with all levels of Hospital personnel and representatives of outside agencies.
• Must possess the ability to communicate both in verbal and written form to facilitate problem solving, procedure documentation and training.
• Ability to plan, communicate and implement projects necessary to support growing, highly available application environments.
• The ability to protect the confidential nature of information within the IT department.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of associate's degree, high school diploma with five (5) years commensurate experience will be accepted.

Certification required and/or willing to pursue industry certification upon hire. Multiple preferred certifications are in Microsoft (Azure Solutions Architect/Windows Server, MCSE, MCSA); Cisco UCS/Networking (CCNA, CCNP); VMWare (VCP, VCAP); Citrix (CCA, CCP); Red Hat (RHCSA, RHCE); Epic (CSM, ODBA).
