*Job Description
- Technical discussion with customer on Engineering tasks.
- Design & Create concept of model in SolidWorks, Inventor & layout
- Creation of 2D and 3D draft; calculation of pre-design.
- Creation of 3D parts and assemblies
- Creation of BOMs (bill of material)
- Estimating hours & negotiating with customer.
- He or she should have good theoretical knowledge Plus he should have knowledge of all manufacturing processes including latest trends in manufacturing and heat treatments and coatings on parts.
- Should have worked at least 4-6 years in core mechanical design engineering.
- Evaluation of general concepts and their feasibility
- Design with norms and guidelines for safety and sustainable development
- Knowledge of Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- Adherence to QMS system
- Review of detailed design for correctness, completeness.
- CAD Tools Preference: SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor (Any other tool proficiency can also apply)
- Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability
- Maintain and develop competence required for the job
Design & Create concept of model in SolidWorks
*Education
Graduate/Post Graduate (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical
Required Skillset(s)
- Excellent academic background
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Deep understanding of intelligent CAD softwares such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and other
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings
- Good understanding of the selection of machine parts and design packaging machines
- Knowledge of international design standards will be an added advantage
- Flexibility to work with different project teams/ software/ type of work etc
Rate
$60/Hr on C2C
