Join a dedicated team at CHA Cambridge Hospital as a Full-Time Orthopedic Medical Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. Work Days: M-F with varying hours from 7 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage patient flow through the clinic.
  • Room patients and assist providers with medical histories.
  • Document relevant information in the electronic health record.
  • Check routine vital signs and perform point of care testing.
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed.
  • Schedule screening tests and follow-up appointments.
  • Engage in proactive management of chronic diseases through communication with patients.
  • Perform other duties to support the clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Certification from an Accredited Institution for Orthopedic Professionals required within 6 months of hire.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Ambulatory Orthopedic Clinic is preferred.
  • Administrative experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
