As the Assistant Nurse Manager Labor & Delivery, you'll help lead a calm, family-centered unit in a low-risk delivery center within a mid-size community hospital. With 10 labor and delivery rooms and 11 postpartum rooms, the Assistant Nurse Manager Labor & Delivery will champion smooth patient flow, evidence-based practice, personalized birth plans, and a serene environment that prioritizes mother-baby bonding from the very first moments.

Reporting to a supportive Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager Labor & Delivery will collaborate closely with Women's Services leaders while partnering with friendly nurses, OB/GYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatology colleagues. As the Assistant Nurse Manager Labor & Delivery, you'll guide staffing and scheduling, mentor preceptors, lead competency validation, drive quality and safety metrics, and serve as a trusted, visible resource for a diverse, high-performing team.
