Social Media + Videography Intern

Payette seeks a creative and motivated Social Media + Videography Intern with strong video production and editing skills to join our dynamic marketing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. We provide a dynamic, collaborative environment which supports innovation and creativity, allowing each team member to significantly contribute to the design process. This position is for the spring semester 2026, fully in-person in our Boston office.

The key responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Embed in a design practice and help curate and create visual stories to be used across social media platforms.
  • Film, process, and edit video footage, including cutting and color grading as well as mixing and mastering interview audio.
  • Optimizing existing video content for different platforms (e.g. social media, website, etc.)
  • Work with Social Media team to capture content including:
    • Short-form interviews
    • B-roll footage of model making and design processes in the office
    • Architectural works and spaces in use.
Candidates should possess the following prerequisite qualifications for this summer internship:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media Studies, or a related design field.
  • Proven experience as a videographer and video editor with portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Software: Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut)
  • Experience working with DSLR cameras
Other internship qualifications include:
  • Interest in capturing architectural spaces, models, and conversations.
  • Creative thinker with excellent storytelling skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
  • Ability to work independently to manage and execute video campaigns

Compensation: $28 - $30 per hour
