CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality service and possess the skills necessary to repair and service a variety of automatic doors. AAADM certification is preferred. Candidates should be adept in performing repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and replacements of automatic doors and associated hardware, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Service a range of door types and control devices, leveraging your technical skills.
- Utilize carpentry expertise in partition framing and installation of doors and windows.
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial doors and emergency exit devices.
- Keep track of multiple projects, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Work positively and professionally both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adherence to established processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction in a fast-paced work environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
The candidate should possess at least 2 years of experience as an automatic door installer or service technician. AAADM certification is a significant advantage. Essential skills include proficiency in servicing various doors and equipment, carpentry, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with brands such as Horton, Stanley, and Assa Abloy is beneficial.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proficient knowledge of servicing various doors and control devices.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in automatic door installation or service.
- AAADM certification preferred.
- Strong carpentry skills, including partition framing and door/window installation.
- Experience in commercial doors and emergency exit devices.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- A clean driving record is essential for operating company vehicles.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
