Job Description

Oversee all accounts payable activities, including validating invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and confirming receipt of goods. Process and reconcile invoices with proper approvals and accurate coding to the general ledger. Manage receipts in the Accounting System, performing variance checks and resolving discrepancies. Record and reconcile cream and fluid milk purchases with vendors and internal teams. Input and balance finished production data, collaborating with operations to address inconsistencies. Reconcile incoming milk receipts with external suppliers and internal customers. Review and reconcile monthly company credit card statements, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable.

• Experience using an ERP system.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• One year of hands-on experience with accounting software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• SAP experience is a plus.

• Team player with positive energy and enthusiasm.

• Attention to detail and strong time management skills.

The position requires working 5 days in the office, which is based in a manufacturing setting. The accounting team is collaborative and supportive. This is a Permanent position based out of Landover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
