Production Maintenance Technician-2nd

Our client, an industry leader in poultry processing, is seeking Water Treatment Technicians to work on either 2nd & 3rd Shift to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Job Title: Water Treatment Technician -2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay Range: Competitive pay based upon experience

Shift: Second Shift 2:30pm-11pm, Third Shift 11pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and repair production and water treatment equipment, including gearboxes, bearings, valves, hydraulics, motors, and PLCs

• Perform maintenance on industrial electric systems, including VFDs and motor controls

• Assist with piping, welding, and understanding fluid dynamics to ensure optimal plant operations

• Use hand tools and own tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently

• Support the team in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment

What's Needed?

• Experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance or industrial maintenance

• Knowledge of chemical mixing processes for water treatment

• Experience with centrifugal pumps, piping, and understanding of fluid dynamics

• Ability to weld (preferably TIG) and understand PLCs (no programming required)

• Owns a toolbox with specialty tools provided by the company; physical ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand/walk throughout shifts
