Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 10-hour shifts including late days. On-call coverage required, with a week of call every four weeks.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians during procedures, utilizing sterile techniques while working within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include scrubbing for procedures and supporting patient care throughout diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and temporary pacemaker insertions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in the Cath Lab during various cardiac procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of sterile technique and departmental protocols.
  • Participate in documentation and sedation processes as required.
  • Be available for on-call duties as per the schedule.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Prior Cath Lab or Radiologic Tech experience required; first-time travelers with strong backgrounds encouraged to apply.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI) and Certified Vascular Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (VI) preferred.
