Rate: $60 - $65/hr 

Duration: 1 Year Contract (with possible extensions) 

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Contract Type: W2 (must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship, no C2C/1099)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with hands-on experience managing projects related to Generative AI and/or Generative AI Cybersecurity programs. This position involves orchestrating complex IT initiatives within defined scopes, budgets, and timelines. You will collaborate with technical teams, product stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Develop, execute, and manage IT projects focusing on Generative AI, AI/ML, and NLP technologies. Define goals, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business needs.
  • Technical Collaboration: Interact effectively with architects, developers, and product teams. Demonstrate high-level technical understanding of AI/ML, NLP, and Generative AI concepts to guide technical discussions and decision-making.
  • Change Management: Adapt quickly to emerging trends, evolving technologies, and newly established processes in the rapidly changing Generative AI landscape.
  • Scope & Risk Management: Assess changes in scope, address issues and risks, and obtain buy-in from department and division leadership for resolution. Ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory policies, and corporate standards.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure project progress against the original plan and budget. Communicate project status, produce timely reports, and deliver decision-support information to stakeholders.
  • Resource Coordination: Assign tasks to cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, validation analysts) and ensure resources are efficiently utilized to meet project milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and executive management to gain project approvals, manage expectations, and gather lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development, or deployment.
    • At least 3 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a high-tech or advanced computing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience managing Generative AI/ML/NLP-related projects strongly preferred.
    • Ability to understand complex AI architectures, frameworks, and cybersecurity implications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with highly technical stakeholders.
    • Adaptable and quick to adjust in a rapidly changing technical landscape.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
