Position Description: Mixed signal IC Staff design engineer
Regular Full-time
Location: Milpitas, CA
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, simulate and verify analog and digital circuit for ultra low jitter PLL, PFD Link, digital filter, Fraction N divider, FOD and high- performance output buffer using deep submicron CMOS process technology.

Understand design specifications and product architecture, create and perform top level simulations with appropriate modelling.

Supervise physical layout work.

Work with test engineering and product engineering for product characterization and post silicon verification, provide occasional customer support.

Create and maintain documentations for the related projects.
Requirements:
-
MSEE/PhD with 3+ years of related industrial experience or BSEE with 5+ years of experience.

Solid knowledge in high performance CMOS mixed signal circuit design.
-
Has experiences in standard output buffer of LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, CMOS design.

Has experiences of Fraction Output Divider is a plus.

Hands on in Cadence tool set, Synopsys tool set, Spectre & Hspice simulation tool, Matlab, and layout tools.

Ability to work as a team and able to work across other groups.
