The Associate Center Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in supervising and training primary care providers (PCPs) at our center. In this position, you will be responsible for enhancing core model execution, focusing on clinical quality, efficiency, outcomes, and clinician/patient satisfaction. While overseeing clinical outcomes, you will also engage in patient care as a PCP and perform other clinical duties based on your direct reports.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care for older adult patients with both acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Take full responsibility for patient outcomes while collaborating with specialists when necessary.
  • Engage with hospitalist care for hospitalized patients.
  • Conduct assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination for patients with complex health needs.
  • Lead a dedicated care team including medical assistants, care facilitators, and care coordinators.
  • Work with transitional care teams for patients unable to visit the office.
  • Facilitate weekly Super Huddles and Transforming Care Meetings.
  • Support center management in clinical leadership while also handling out-of-office provider coverage.
  • Mentor and manage PCPs to achieve outstanding clinical results.
  • Collaborate with Operations Director to enhance center performance and membership growth.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally for training and recruitment.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages may be required depending on location).
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in various situations.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
  • Active MD licensure in your state.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
  • Preferred: Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Must possess a current DEA number for controlled substances.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 90 days of employment.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $231,876 - $331,251.
