This role is essential in ensuring employees across the organization are well-prepared and confident in using key ERP applications. The Applications Analyst focuses on training, system education, workflow enablement, and user support, bridging the gap between technical systems and operational end users. By designing and delivering training, creating curriculum, and supporting system usage, this role ensures accurate, efficient, and effective adoption of the organization's technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and support training programs for end users across assigned ERP applications.
- Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions; create training materials, guides, job aids, and learning plans.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, operational leaders, IT teams, and customers to assess training needs and identify access requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including workflows, test scripts, and system curriculum.
- Support system analysis, design, build, test, and implementation activities.
- Translate user and business needs into clear application solution specifications.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of assigned applications to support user inquiries and system issues.
- Develop reports, simple applications, queries, and solutions using PC system development tools.
- Provide operational support, problem resolution, and incident management, including after-hours support on a rotating basis.
- Participate in project planning activities, setting priorities and performing assigned technical tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting users with optimizing system usage.
- Provide training and mentorship to new users and less experienced staff.
- Promote adherence to organizational policies, safe practices, and service standards.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in systems development and implementation within large corporate or healthcare environments preferred.
- Experience with Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and translate technical/business requirements into training curriculum and workflows.
- Strong skills in developing and delivering instructor-led and virtual system training.
- Ability to create, maintain, and update training documentation including manuals, guides, job aids, and presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suited for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic working knowledge of application support, system development tools, and methodologies.
- Ability to independently manage workload, priorities, and project tasks.
- Training, instructional design, or ERP-related certifications are a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of database concepts, application functionality, and system workflows.
- Understanding of healthcare information systems and system design processes preferred.
- Familiarity with LMS systems or eLearning development tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
- High attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to guide, train, and support users with varying levels of technical skill.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
