Job Overview

Appalachian Vascular and Interventional Radiology is committed to serving the imaging and treatment needs of patients throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The IR section is clinic-based, but practices at Johnson City Medical Center, a 400-bed tertiary level 1 Trauma facility and a Stroke Center of Excellence. The IR section also covers Niswonger Children's Hospital and six other acute care facilities under an exclusive contract with Ballad Health, a not-for-profit health system based in the Appalachian Highlands Region. Our interventional radiologists are leaders in bringing this modern specialty to our region. Our clinic-based practice consists of five advanced practice providers who handle all inpatient consultations and perform a wide range of procedures, allowing interventionalists to focus on the most complex cases and cutting-edge interventions. We have an exceptional, collaborative working relationship with the Ballad Health leadership team, which assures the technical and financial support to thrive both professionally and personally.

  • $600,000 base compensation - with ability to earn more compensation with Stroke Call
