About the Role:

The Loan Servicing Specialist at ZeusLending.com **** is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of a hard money loan portfolio. This role ensures the accurate administration of loans from funding through payoff, maintaining full compliance with company policies, investor requirements, and applicable lending regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong expertise in hard money and private lending operations, with a thorough understanding of loan compliance, risk management, and collateral-based financing. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy in financial reporting are essential. The role also requires professionalism, integrity, and clear communication skills to effectively coordinate with borrowers, investors, and internal teams while maintaining ZeusLending's high standards for precision and service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in private or hard money lending or loan servicing.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to to problem-solve under tight timelines.
  • Ability to analyze loan data and generate detailed reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily loan servicing activities for commercial and residential loan portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and process loan documentation, including origination, modification, and payoff paperwork.
  • Monitor loan maturities, extensions, and delinquencies, initiating appropriate follow-up actions as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for borrowers, addressing questions and resolving issues related to their loans.
  • Ensure all servicing activities adhere to company policies and applicable lending regulations.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, accounting, and other departments to facilitate smooth loan servicing operations.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on loan status, performance, and compliance metrics.
