We are looking for a dedicated individual who is ready to take on the responsibilities of a Fleet Maintenance Technician and be part of our mission.

Position Summary:

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are operating efficiently. You will document all repair work and maintenance schedules using our Trimble TMT electronic maintenance system.

Location: Norton, MA

Compensation: $38.40 / hour + 6% - 8% shift differential for applicable hours worked

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 2PM to 10PM, 2nd shift.

You will be required to travel to support branches in Belmont, Framingham, and Cape Cod.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment, including planned preventive maintenance and warranty repairs.
  • Document all repair work in Trimble TMT and on company PM cards.
  • Manage parts billing through Trimble TMT Fleet or company systems.
  • Ensure all scheduled services and maintenance tasks are completed daily.
  • Assist in training Route Sales Representatives on pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow safety practices and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair (gas, diesel, or propane).
  • Vocational/Trade school certification preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to secure and maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
  • Mechanic hand-tools and toolbox are a must.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Electronic Diagnostic Tools, and Maintenance Database applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Successful candidates will possess strong English language skills for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
