Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mechanic to join our team. This role requires someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to diagnose and estimate job requirements, complete necessary repairs, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various types of equipment, such as forklifts, automobiles, trucks, and farm equipment.

• Exercise and encourage proper safety practices at all times.

• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely and effectively.

• Self-diagnose mechanical issues and estimate repair jobs accurately.

• Complete all repairs and maintenance tasks as required.

• Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles responsibly.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of forklift mechanical experience.

• Proficiency in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with hydraulics and equipment repair.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior forklift service experience preferred.

• OSHA-approved safety boots required.

• Ability to lift up to or in excess of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing and kneeling regularly.

• Must own personal tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is structured around an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday. Employees are expected to wear OSHA-approved safety boots and maintain a safety-conscious attitude. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
