Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and enhance features with a strong focus on quality.
  • Prioritize customer needs and iterate rapidly to deliver value.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product leaders.
  • Provide mentorship to fellow engineers and offer constructive code reviews.
  • Be an active participant in defining the application's architecture.
  • Support the team's on-call rotation by guiding and assisting during complex incidents.
  • Contribute to a remote-first organization with a world-class culture.
  • Manage your time effectively, focusing on delivering quality results.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in implementing, shipping, and maintaining production software.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering setting.
  • Experience in collaborative, team-based projects.
  • A background as a technical leader.
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to write clear, testable, and maintainable JavaScript code.
  • Expertise in frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS.
  • Proficient with backend technologies including Node.js, Postgres, and Docker.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining services on AWS.
  • Strong familiarity with Git and GitHub.

The salary for this position ranges from $137,700 to $206,500 annually, with variability based on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications. This role is also eligible for bonuses and an extensive benefits package.
