Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Union, NJ
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Job Summary
A manufacturing and distribution company in Union, NJ is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative to support daily operations. The CSR will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing timely, professional support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers
- Work with internal teams (sales, warehouse, logistics) to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Resolve customer issues and complaints quickly and effectively
- Maintain accurate customer records in company systems
- Assist with other administrative or office support tasks as needed
- 1-2 years of customer service or office support experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or related environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM system knowledge a plus)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Team player with a customer-first mindset
Full-time, Monday through Friday during standard business hours
