Part-Time Phlebotomist for Home Visits needed in Bronx, NY

At Doral Health & Wellness, we are committed to providing integrated, interdisciplinary health services to the Brooklyn, New York community. Our innovative medical facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record blood testing results in patients' homes, including but not limited to height and weight.
  • Blood testing, including finger stick and/or venipuncture blood draws.
  • Candidates with proven experience in venipuncture blood draws will be required to perform these in a fast-paced environment during screening events, if needed.
  • Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing.
  • Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
  • Experience processing samples.
  • Certification from a national agency such as American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Must have a vehicle to travel to patients' homes.
  • Able to pass a standard background check.
Compensation:
  • Pay rate: $25 per hour.
