Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and the coordination of all functions in the unit during assigned shifts. Working alongside the management team, the CNC will oversee nursing care and ensure adherence to established policies, serving as a resource for staff while promoting a commitment to excellence in patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee admissions and discharge processes to maintain efficient patient care.
- Continuously assess the quality of care provided in collaboration with management.
- Foster a team-oriented environment to improve service and outcomes.
- Advocate for a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery.
- Implement initiatives to enhance staff engagement and performance.
- Involve in hiring, training, and evaluating new staff members.
- Assist with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
- Coordinate inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- NTD Cardiac Stable Module must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- STABLE certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a BSN.
- Minimum of 1 year of Level IV NICU RN experience is required.
- Charge Nurse experience is essential.
