Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Cardiac Telemetry Nursing Coordinator, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. You will coordinate nursing functions and collaborate with management to monitor care standards, supporting the mission of the organization for excellent patient experiences and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in admission and discharge processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality care.
- Participate in quality assessments of patient care services.
- Foster teamwork to enhance patient outcomes and services.
- Support a patient-first approach, engaging in service recovery when needed.
- Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and patient care.
- Assist in interviewing, selecting, and training new nursing staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and labor needs according to patient care demands.
- Assist in inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree or higher in nursing (Bachelors or Masters).
