Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Logistics Specialist I

Job Description

The Logistics Specialist supports the end-to-end flow of products across hazardous materials, research and development materials, clinical drug product distribution, and inventory management operations. This role ensures the compliant, accurate, and timely execution of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation activities while adhering to internal SOPs, regulatory standards, and quality expectations. This position is designated as 100% onsite due to the essential nature of the job functions.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma with 0-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control concepts.

  • Ability to meet TSA requirements, including successful backgroundcheck.

  • Ability to complete the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP).

  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.

  • Ability to work occasional overtime.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • IATA certification and international shipping documentation experience preferred.

  • Experience with warehouse material-handling equipment preferred.

Work Environment

This role is classified as 100% onsite. The physical presence of the Logistics Specialist is required to perform essential job functions, which include handling, picking, packing, and shipping physical materials and drug products, receiving goods and processing inventory transactions, operating material-handling equipment, accessing controlled storage areas, performing physical inventory cycle counts, managing hazardous materials, complying with safety regulations, coordinating product destruction activities onsite, and maintaining warehouse work areas and equipment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
