About The Position
Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) plus call Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Must-Have: BLS, CST certification Description: The position requires performing surgical tech duties within the cardiovascular operating room. The role involves preparing and maintaining the sterile field during procedures. Assisting the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and equipment is essential. It is critical to have strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols. The candidate must be able to work well in a high-pressure environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this role. The position may involve additional on-call shifts as needed. Applicants should have a proven track record of support in surgical settings.
