Maintenance Technician

$29.33 - $31.00 starting pay with guaranteed weekly overtime

Shifts:

  • 1st shift - 6 - 4:30 a.m. (overtime will be readily available)

Responsibilities

  • Support the production team as the mechanical maintenance technician.

  • Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly.

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.

  • Make necessary repairs or adjustments to equipment.

  • Perform basic electrical duties such as replacing motors and switches.

  • Support the team in all aspects of the operation.

  • Train team members on mechanical processes.

  • Focus on continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and blueprints (6 months+ experience)

  • Knowledge of gearboxes, high-speed machinery, pumps, and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience with drives and variable frequency drives.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.33 - $31.00/hr.
